On the eve of the crucial Hereford United match, Cheltenham Town have admitted they have cash-flow problems.
Their players and staff are having to wait for wages until after the game tomorrow.
The club blames recent home match postponements for the slight delay.
"All areas of club expenditure are currently under review," said the club in a statement on their OS.
UPDATE 6pm: The Gloucester Citizen has a report on the problems at Whaddon Road.
There are fears of a deepening financial crisis at Cheltenham Town Football club after club employees learned they will be paid a day late this week.
The players and staff were due to receive their wages this Monday, but the club are relying on (the) home clash with Hereford United to bring in the revenue needed to pay up.
The gate receipts will allow the club's employees to be reimbursed on Tuesday, but the delay is an indiction of the precarious position the club is in.
Meanwhile three Cheltenham Town supporters have been banned from watching Cheltenham Town for three years after a court case.
