All the Ingredients for a Good Match - Turner

Hereford United manager Graham Turner has been talking to the Worcester News in advance of tomorrow's important match at Cheltenham.

“This has all the ingredients for a good match,” Turner said. “The position we are both in just adds to the importance.

“But there is still a lot of football to be played between now and the end of the season so I wouldn’t say the losers would definitely go down.

“Of course, we can’t afford to have too much of a gap between us and the teams above the relegation places.”

Striker Steve Guinan knows the importance of three points.

“Whoever loses this match will be three adrift of the next team and that won’t look good on paper,” Guinan said.

“This is a big game and a draw won’t do either team any good. I’m sure that Cheltenham will be looking to put a few things straight after last time.

“But we need to start beating teams around us in the table and we have that opportunity in the coming weeks with this game, Leyton Orient, Crewe and Brighton coming up.”

Defender Dean Beckwith has had flu recently but is back in training and should be available for the game.
