Hereford are level at Blyth Spartans at half time.
Adam Livingstone had a couple of half chances early in the game, with one curling effort high and wide and then dragging a second wide of the upright.
Hereford fell a goal behind as they failed to deal with a Blyth corner. Charlie Aitken was able to drive the ball home from the penalty spot after a well-drilled corner routine.
But they weren't ahead for long despite dominating possession when, from nothing, Jason Cowley's solo effort beat the keeper.
He ran in behind, cut back and curled the ball into the top corner, past the outstretched arm of the keeper.
All to play for in the second half!
