Hereford's Orrin Pendley was shown a yellow card after appearing to jump over the barrier and confronted some Kings Lynn spectators during the second half of today's game.
It's not certain what happened but Pendley was clearly annoyed.
After manager Josh Gowling spoke about the incident.
"I spoke to Orrin and he had some racial comments towards him, noises so he kind of lost his head a little bit.
"You come to stadiums and unfortunately maybe there's a couple of morons that ruin it for people.
"That's not a reflection on Kings Lynn.
"Orrin is a really calm lad and he doesn't react to things but he tried to jump over the hording. So something is not right.
"They've got black players so you would think they would understand things, the minority sometimes let's it down for the majority.
"We don't take it as a relection on them because they are good people here.
"It's just unfortunate."
It was later revealed that Lynn chairman Stephen Cleeve had admitted that the club had been fined £5000 plus £1200 in costs for 'misogynistic abuse' aimed towards an assistant referee at a game against Alfreton in September.
