Keeper signs for new club after leaving Hereford

Goalkeeper Matt Horton has signed for Lye Town after leaving Edgar Street.

Horton, who didn't make an appearance for Hereford after joining last summer, was offered a deal to stay with the club.

But he has signed for the Midland Football League Premier side.

Manager Richard Ball said: ‘Great GK signed from Hereford. I've seen Matt develop over the last few years. Very commanding and has good presence, technically very good with his handling and comfortable with his feet too."

The 19-year-old had previously been with Bromsgrove Sporting and Halesowen Town.
