Tommy Widdrington felt his side deserved their win against Hereford this afternoon. The Bulls took the lead through Tyrone Barnett in the 12th minute and deserved to be ahead at half-time.
But Kings Lynn came out in the second half with an obvious change in tactics and in the end won the game 2-1.
Afterwards Widdrington spoke about the game.
"I think we were our own worst enemy in the first half," he said.
"The pitch is difficult, it's heavy.
"And we played a big part in their goal which is unlike us to be honest.
"They capitalised on an error, simple as that.
"I thought we were controlling the game when they scored. It put a bit of wind in their sails and I thought they were better than us for a period in the first half
"I thought the response we got after half time was absolutely spot-on. The changes we made were the right changes and the lads proved us back."
Back to the first ten minutes which Widdrington was controlled by his side.
"We just were not being efficient enough in the final third of the pitch.
"But we changed it around second half and we deserved to win the game. It was a change in the way we played and a change of formation. We played to the pitch."
Widdrington spoke about Hereford.
"They are a good side, they are not a bad side Hereford.
"They are one of very few teams who have come here and tried to press us high up the pitch and that's why I thought we did really well before their goal because we took that on board and got out quite well.
"But they are well organised and have good players."
