Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish says his side is in the middle of a tough week.
After facing third-favourites Wrexham last weekend, the Fleet travel to Edgar Street on Saturday before facing title favourites Luton on Monday. Daish told the Kent Messenger:
"We couldn’t have had a tougher
eight days. Hereford have started fairly well and have a pretty experienced
manager in Martin Foyle, while Luton have got big players having
signed Jon Shaw from Gateshead and the likes of Scott Rendell and
Stuart Fleetwood as well.
"They went close last year and you have got to take your hat off
to them because they are making every effort to get out of the
league again. I am sure they will be there or thereabouts."
Daish will be missing midfielders Ram Marwa and Giannoulis Fakinos as neither are yet fit following long term injuries, but he is hoping for one return - in the shape of the British summer. Last weekend, his part-timers flagged in the heat with the former West Ham man hoping for colder weather this weekend:
“I hope the weather changes, as it is really tough to play football in heat like this."
He may get his wish, with Saturday's weather expected to be up to ten degrees cooler than last weekend.
