No Water On The Pitch Pre-Kick-Off

Unlike most recent home games at Edgar Street, no water was put on the pitch before the start of today's game against Hednesford.

From the top of the Main Stand the pitch appeared to look on the dry side.

And before kick-off manager Aaron Downes was seen talking to groundsman Ben Bowen.

After it was revealed by a director that there was a fault with the sprinkler system.

Whether had the pitch been watered close to kick-off the result would have been been different we will never know.
