New Hereford Mayor Brian Wilcox will launch his Appeal Year next Friday night, May 25th, in the Starlite Rooms.
He will be launching his backing for charities The Haven and Robocap on the evening, with tickets for the event available from the club reception. The £20 ticket includes a two course meal, plus entertainment from comedian Nicky Smiles and vocalist Chantelle Pinky (right).
The Haven offers vital support and therapies to people affected by breast cancer, with it's Hereford centre in St Owens Street.
Robocap hopes to bring 'Robotic Assisted Surgery' to the area. They aim to raise £400,000 to provide the region with a state of the art robotic surgery unit that will bring "the biggest development in surgery in over the last 50 years" to the area.
