Burton have named Tranmere no.2 Kevin Summerfield as Gary Rowett's new assistant. Summerfield, 53, had been Les Parry's assistant at Prenton Park, and had continued in the role after Ronnie Moore's arrival. York have been granted planning permission for their new stadium after a Council vote. The new stadium includes plans for two new superstores along side.

Mansfield manager Paul Cox has signed a new two year deal with the club. The 40 year old former Eastwood Town boss was originally appointed on a one year deal last May. Plymouth have released just two players from their limited squad. Forward and winger Luke Daley was signed in August, making 21 appearances, while midfielder Damien Johnson spent the last two seasons on loan at Huddersfield.
