Lyle Taylor Expected To Join Bulls

Lyle Taylor is expected to join Hereford United on a loan deal possibly later today. The Bournemouth striker is not an automatic choice for the starting eleven at Deans Court and manager Lee Bradbury feels he needs games.

Born in Greenwich Hospital, Taylor was spotted by Milwall whilst playing for Staines Town youth academy, and progressed from the Millwall U18's to the reserve team. The 20-year-old, who was plucked by Eddie Howe from non-league Concord Rangers, used to top up his income by taking on part-time modelling work through former player Andy Ansah’s company Sports on Screen. His assignments included starring with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba and Ronaldinho in a series of shoots for global sportswear giant Nike.

In October 2008 he signed a one month loan deal at Conference National side Eastbourne Borough in order to gain first team experience. In November 2008 his loan was extended by another month. Although he played five games, he had only scored one goal, against Stevenage Borough. Eastbourne Borough coach Nick Greenwood decided to end the loan deal, stating Lyle was not ready for Conference starts, although he is still learning his trade.

His contract at Millwall ended on 1 July 2009, after which he signed for non-League Concord Rangers. After scoring 34 goals in his first season for the club, on 27 August 2010 he signed for AFC Bournemouth, making his Football League debut the following day.
