Pitman's Half Time Talk Fired The Bulls

There's little doubt that Jamie Pitman's half-time talk fired Hereford United into their best 45 minutes of football this season.

BBC H&W's Keith Hall asked him what he had said.

"Some not repeatable, but some - just go and work hard," said the care-taker manager.

"They'd shown no passion, no committment at all in the first half. We looked all over the place, our shape was gone.

"So we said just go out there and put a performance on second half.

"The shape changed a little bit which helped us. And they showed some great quality in the final third in the second half.

"Matt came on and he's been absolutely superb, he's done what he is good at. He's big and he's strong and he is athletic.

"Again Stuart has come on, he knows the role I want him to play and I'm so pleased for him to get a couple of goals.

"James McQuilkin has probably been our best player all season. He's getting better and better with every game. It's helped him with Richard Rose playing in there with him. It gives him a licence to get forward a little bit more.

"After his disappointment first half with the back-pass, we said don't worry about it and he's put in another good performance.

"Guillem Bauza, he's different class. He's got some great quality and he's a pleasure to have around."

Finally the question on every supporters lips - where do you go from here?

"I go exactly the same way I've been going for the last few weeks. I'll continue doing this role until I'm told any different byt the chairman."
