Speaking to BBC Hereford and Worcester, Simon Davey spoke about O'Neil Thompson:
"A full international, he's played many games for Jamaica. He's a player I signed from Norway last pre-season. He came in and did very well pre-season. Unfortunately managers have different opinions and Mark (Robins) has felt that he's not probably in his plans and he's a good acquisition to the squad.
"He'll have a presence within the football club and can play centre back or central midfield. He's versatile and when you're trying to be competitive in a squad, and try to compete in the division, when you've got players of that sort of calible capable of playing many positions it can add a dimension to the group.
"I know his character, typical Jamaican - a bit laid back but he knows how I work so I know how to get the best out of him."
