Turner expected to make changes for Yeovil Encounter

Hereford United manager Graham Turner is expected to make changes for tomorrow's game against Yeovil Town after seing his side lose their first two matches this season.

Speaking to BBC Hereford and Worcester he explained that although he's not one for knee-jerk reactions after a couple of disappointing results he does have players in the squad who are close to having a first game.

"There's the possibility we might make one or two changes for the Yeovil match," said Turner.

"I've got players thinking they should be in the side and doing very well in training.

"So when they are doing that and working hard in training, looking good in training, perhaps you have to throw them in the side and say get on with it."

Meanwhile in his latest interview with the Official Website, Turner has spoken about the Football League 'respect campaign'.

The campaign is aimed at all those involved in football having more respect for each other.

"They've tightened up on the intidamation of referees.

"Clubs can be fined up to £30,000 if three or more players go around the referee to dispute a decision.

"What we have said for a long long time is only the captain and the player involved in the incident will be allowed to go and talk to the referee.

"This follows the defeat at Walsall the season before last. The club was fined as a result of a decision the referee made in sending Dean Beckwith off."

The incident was between Beckwith and Trevor Benjamim, who was at Walsall at the time.

Finally Graham Turner has said that Hereford United will support the League's Enjoy the Match campaign. (More details see Bulls News article dated August 5th).
