Yeovil supporters have been advised that anyone entering Edgar Street tomorrow with drums, trumpets or other musical instruments are likely to have them confiscated.
They have also been given advice by the West Mercia Police that they should consider using the Herdsman public house in Edgar Street for pre-match refreshment.
"This pub provides limited bar food snacks only, but the town centre is only five minutes away where there are many retail food outlets," said a police spokesperson.
"There is ample parking at Merton Meadow car park and at the multi storey car park near the The Herdsman pub in Widemarsh Street.
"There are no particular areas to avoid for visiting supporters.
"The weather forecast is for rain with high winds and therefore wet weather clothing will be required."
Yeovil supporters have been given a mobile phone number for the two police officers that will accompany them at Hereford.
According to the Somerset Press the police "spotters" for the game will be PCs Mark Tunwell and Matt Lorimer and they will be available on 07795 044411 during the day for any policing issues.
