Turner comments on FA Cup Draw

Hereford United manager Graham Turner has commented on this afternoon's FA Cup draw which could mean a home game against Cardiff City for the Bulls if they can overcome Tranmere next week. The Hereford ball was last but one out of the pot.

"It was a bit of an anti-climax but there would be a lot of interest in the game," Turner told the Worcester News.

"There's a lot of interest in Cardiff with old rivalries going way back and connections with Paul Parry. We have not played them for a number of years.

"But from our point of view, we have got to think about Tranmere.

"We have got nothing to fear from anybody, it's one of those cup adventures this club enjoys every now and then.

"The pressure is off the players, the pressure is on getting league points so the players can enjoy the games a bit more and anything can happen."

Meanwhile Cardiff City haven't played at Edgar Street since February 1997. The result that day in a League game was a 1-1 draw.

The match featured a return to Edgar Street for former player Gareth Stoker who had been sold to the Bluebirds for £20,000. Although Stoker was the Cardiff scorer, he also manager to get himself sent off after a nasty foul on Chris Hargreaves.
