Shrewsbury have recorded a small profit for last season in their club accounts, thanks mainly to their play-off trip to Wembley.
A £33,000 profit was recorded only after taking 23,000 fans to Wembley for their failed play-off campaign, with the accounts also noting heavy turnover thanks to the 'end of an era' marketing of the departure from Gay Meadow. Without these events, the club would have posted another sizable loss.
