News Round Up

Accrington striker Paul Mullin has signed a new two year deal at the club following his rejection of a move to Shrewsbury. Wrexham have added defender Phil Bolland from Chester on contract until the end of the season. Chester have also released former trainee Rob Marsh-Evans to free up funds for new signings.

Lincoln have extended striker Ollie Ryan's contract until the end of the season. Rotherham have signed midfielder Ian Ross on a permanent deal from Sheff Utd. The former loanee joins on a free transfer with a sell-on clause. Mansfield have cancelled next weeks crunch match with fellow strugglers Wrexham due to mains water work at the ground.

Morecambe are discussing terms with Peterboro keeper Shwan Jalal. The former Woking stopper was transfer listed last month, and is now fourth choice at London Road. Dagenham boss John Still has admitted that finances at the club will prevent reinforcements coming into his ailing side: "I desperately want us to stay in the league, but not at such a high cost as the club's future."

Gillingham have transfer listed nine players, including former Bradford loanee Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu, in the wake of their Johnstone Paint Trophy loss to MK Dons in which only two of the nine played. The club are still waiting for an answer to their bid for ex-Bull Stuart Fleetwood.

Cheltenham have accepted a £150,000 bid from Crewe for forward Damian Spencer, who are now believed to have lodged a bid for Fleetwood of £175,000 according to press reports. The Railwaymen are the fourth club to confirm a bid for Fleetwood, and have been told a response will be given on Friday.

Luton have denied all 17 FA charges of using unlicenced agents and irregular payments. Former chairman Bill Tompkins denied eight of 15 charges against him, with three other directors denying charges against them, and three of six agents denied their charges.
