After last night's 3-0 defeat at Leyton Orient Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore wasn't too pleased with another sending off of one of his players.
"We cut our own throats for the second game in a row," Moore told the Liverpool press.
"There was nothing in the game when the sending off happened. We were one down from a goal we should have stopped but we had been putting Orient under pressure in the first half.
"Shane (Sherriff) had one booking to his name and we told him at half time to be careful and disciplined. Within five minutes he made an unnecessary challenge and got the second yellow. He will be fined for that.
"We did not play well in the second half but the sending off was the turning point.
"It’s hard to chase the game when you are a man short and we’ve had to do that in the last two league games. Tired legs take their toll."
