Tranmere could be without defender Andy Taylor for the FA Cup replay after a bid was made for him.
The on-loan Blackburn full back has impressed in his two months on loan and Championship side Blackpool, where he spent a month on loan in 2006, are believed to be the bidders. Their offer has been matched by Rovers, with Blackburn leaving it up to the player which offer he prefers.
Boss Ronnie Moore pulled Taylor out of last night's match following the bids. His loss would add to their absences with Ian Gooding and Chris Shuker both definitely missing the replay. Winger Jennison Myrie-Williams and striker Chris Greenacre, who both missed the first game, played in last night's match after recovering from their injuries while Shane Sheriff will serve his one match suspension during their weekend visit of Bristol Rovers.
