Six Cards for Bees

The stats from this afternoon's game at Edgar Street showed the different in discipline between the two teams with Hereford United getting just one yellow card and Brentford six.

Bulls' defender Dean Beckwith was carded for kicking the ball away. Former Bull Alan Connell was one of the Brentford players booked.

Possession was assessed as 53% for Hereford and 47% for Brentford.

Shots on target were eight to Hereford and five to Brentford.

However the telling stat was for fouls with Hereford being penalised 11 times and Brentford 24 times.

Perhaps surprisingly despite his two goals Hereford's Luke Webb received a nine for his work. Beckwith, Smith, Diagouraga and Guinan were awarded an eight each. The remaining players were given sevens.
