Butcher compliments Hereford

In his post match press conference Brentford manager Terry Butcher paid tribute to Hereford's performance this afternoon.

"We've given away two goals, disappointing from our point of view.

"They've shown good movement, especially in mid-field all throughout the game and it's caused us problems.

"We couldn't get to grips with it even in the second half when we changed it around.

"Their side is full of confidence and we're not.

"Hereford are a good side. They've got passers in the team young and old. They've got players on the top of their form.

"Hereford were much more of a team than us."

For his part Graham Turner said that Hereford deserved their win.

"The first (goal) was a very very good strike and he (Webb) did okay. Different sort of player from Lionel but contributed a lot to the side.

"Luke has taken his chance well."
