Foyle Happy With Performance

Hereford United manager Martin Foyle was very happy with the performance of his players and trialists last night in the pre-season game against Bristol Rovers. So pleased that they are all going canoeing down the River Wye today partly because the ground is so hard.

"We had a lot of chances, corners were good, team shape was good." Foyle told Bulls Player.

"Little bit gutted because I hate conceeding goals, but Rod (Mcdonald) got tired towards the end which happens.

"First half I thought we were far the better side. To go into the second week and play like that full of confidence.

"There were some very good individual performances."

There were several trialists on view.

"Oscar Radford and Steve Leslie came in for two games. I will see them (today).

"Frankie Artus came in on Monday. I thought he showed some good touches with a decent left foot.

"So I came away thinking we got a good core, small but it's a good core."
