Tranmere Rovers have parted company with manager Les Parry.
The former Physio had been in charge since 2009 but the Prenton Park outfit had failed to win any of their previous 11 matches, dropping them down to just a point clear of the relegation zone.
Parry told the local press after his dismissal that he knew his job was in danger and accepted the decision of chairman Peter Johnson, adding 'I wish Tranmere every success, they will always be in my heart."
Update: Tranmere have appointed Ronnie Moore, the manager Parry replaced, on a deal until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Burton manager Paul Peschisolido will hold talks with club chairman Ben Robinson tomorrow. He admitted his job is on the line after Saturday's loss to Southend extended their winless run to 11 games.
The Brewers have failed to win since Boxing Day, plunging from a play-off spot to 15th place, and have taken only eight points from 42 since the beginning of December.
