News Round-Up

Thirteen people were arrested during Oxford's game with Swindon yesterday. Five have been released without change but eight, including one aged 14, have been bailed pending further enqiries. Amongst the incidents were a Swindon bus being damaged by the occupants, seats being torn out and thrown by both sides, and a second bus being damaged after the game. Torquay expect to have lost winger Danny Stevens for the rest of the season after he picked up a leg injury yesterday.

Port Vale chairman Mike Lloyd has told the BBC he expects the club to enter Administration within a week. He told them that they would be in Administration for at least three months while a sale was arranged. Meanwhile, striker Marc Richards has denied that he is set to leave the club after he was absent from their squad yesterday. Boss Micky Adams told the BBC that the club was unable to even pay petrol money to their unpaid players, and that neither Chris Shuker or Paul Marshall have been paid since they joined the club.
