They received £125,000 from Swindon for Elliot Benyon and £75,000 for manager Paul Buckle, and took over £160,000 from their cup run. The Gulls have handed keeper Bobby Olejnik a new contract that runs until the summer of 2014. The Austrian was signed from Falkirk in the summer.

Darlington's players are to seek urgent talks with the Administrator after being told they will be paid just £200 per game to play for the club. Defender Paul Arnison told the Northern Echo that one player had spent £130 in two weeks on fuel to get to games and training, and another had just £100 left to his name with a baby on the way. Arnison said the players wanted answers after it was claimed that over £200,000 had been raised by the club through fundraising and bumper home gates since their plunge into Administration.
