News Round-Up

Wycombe have confirmed that assistant manager Martin Kuhl has resigned his position after being suspended. The 46 year old is alleged to have had a bust-up with a player on the coach home from Edgar Street last Tuesday following their goalless draw with the Bulls. Port Vale's fans have received sufficient backing from shareholders to call an EGM. They needed support from holders of 5% of the shares in the club, but have received nearly 20% already with the poll yet to close.

Bradford claim they are on the verge of quitting Valley Parade over the rent costs at the ground. They want the £370,000 yearly charge renegotiated on the ground they sold to former chairman Gordon Gibb for £2.5million in 2003. They say that, in total, the club pay £1.25million in running costs for the ground and offices each year, and would likely move to the nearby Odsal Stadium that currently hosts rugby league side Bradford Bulls. The Bantams are also offering £1 admission to supporters for their game with Burton, an offer not open to Brewers fans.

Plymouth's Administrator has ended talks with property developer Paul Buttivant after he failed to meet a Monday deadline to prove he had sufficient funds to back his bid. Farnborough have agreed a deal to buy a stand from Darlington's old Feethams ground. The 2,000 capacity stand has been in storage in the North East since Feethams closed in 2003, after only being used at the old ground for five years.

Panorama on Monday (BBC1, 8.30pm) has an investigation into the Munto Finance former owner of Notts County. The show is called 'The Trillion Dollar Con-Man'. Northampton have extended the deals for ex-Bulls pair Guillem Bauza and Byron Webster until the end of the season. Bauza has scored twice in six games since arriving on a short term deal, while Doncaster loanee Webster has played five times since arriving on loan in mid-March.
