Three of the Bulls relegation rivals are at the foot of the current form table.
With the Bulls having earned nine points from their last eight games, it's not good news for Burton and two sides that previously thought they'd be safe. The Brewers have five points from their last eight games, while Lincoln have four and Northampton just three.
The Imps are in dire form at present having lost their last five games on the trot, scoring just two goals - one a penalty - and conceding sixteen times. Northampton's troubles stretch further back, to the start of February, with a 15 match winless run. Even the acquisition of Gary Johnson hasn't turned fortunes for the Cobblers, with the former Yeovil boss earning just three draws from seven games in charge.
Burton's hopes of avoiding danger have rested on their glut of games in hand, but they are fast disappearing and the latest one - on Tuesday away to Bury - could see them slip into the bottom two. Currently level on points with Barnet, the Brewers would drop below the Bees on goal difference if they were to lose by three goals - a believable scoreline with the Shakers hitting three or more 14 times this season including a 3-1 win at the Pirelli Stadium back in November.
Barnet were long odds-on for relegation just a couple of weeks ago. Stockport still are, but the Bees are now a best-priced 4/6 with Burton 3/1, Northampton 9/2, and Lincoln 16/1. The Bulls, whose odds dropped dramatically after Wednesday's tribunal, are back out to 20/1 after the win over Chesterfield.
