It was another night of low gates around League Two, with Shrewsbury, Rotherham, and Northampton all recording season low attendances, and most other sides coming within 100 fans of doing the same.
The Bulls returned to their spiritual home of 17th place after Shrewsbury's 2-0 win over Barnet pushed the Bees down on goal difference. Cheltenham lost 1-0 at home to Burton to make it one win in ten games and drop their game in hand over Grimsby, who are six points behind. Rock bottom Darlington failed to secure a second straight win after a late Danny Hone goal, in the seventh minute of injury time, gained Lincoln a 1-1 draw.
At the top Bournemouth closed the gap at the top to three points in beating Notts County 2-1, while Bury beat Macclesfield 2-1 to stay six points clear of the automatic promotion line. Fourth placed Rotherham have two games in hand on the Shakers and kept up pressure with a 2-0 win over fading Dagenham. Northampton moved up to eighth with a 4-0 win over Accrington, with the Cobblers unbeaten in 11 since the Bulls won at Sixfields, while Chesterfield cemented a play-off spot with a 2-1 win at Port Vale.
In the Conference Stevenage, 3-1 winners over Mansfield, deposed Oxford after Luton scored in the fourth and seventh minute of injury time to beat the U's 2-1 and take the last play-off place from Mansfield. Of special note is Hayes and Yeading's 4-0 win over Grays, where the gate of 251 is in danger of being lower than the number of players Grays will use this season. Their current count is 64.
