Turner happy with Dennehy

Being involved in a very debatable penalty wasn't the best way for young loan signing Darren Dennehy to start his time at Hereford United. However manager Graham Turner seemed pleased with his performance.

“He (referee) must have been the only person in the ground to think it was a foul and Southend won the game off it. Not a great start but the manager Graham Turner said he was happy with my performance,” said Dennehy.

“The purpose of me coming here for the next month is to get games and Hereford have two matches per week scheduled until I return to Cardiff.”

Turner will probably be happy to know that Dennehy has not been called into the Eire u-21 squad for their matches with Spain and Turkey at the end of this month. The only ex-Bull in the squad is Stephen Gleeson.
