Nick Jordan has been announced as the young goalkeeper to join the Bulls this summer.
The released Portsmouth youngster is 18, born in Aldershot, and 5ft 11in. He signed a two year scholarship with Pompey in 2006 and just a few weeks later was on the bench for their opening Premier League match with Blackburn as Harry Redknapp faced a goalkeeping crisis with David James the only fit senior keeper at the club.
He would have been Portsmouth's youngest ever player but that place on the bench was as close to first team action as Jordan got. He was told of his release from Fratton Park in March , a surprise to many supporters, and was allowed to join Exeter on trial. The Grecians offered him a further pre-season trial to come in as their third keeper, but he has now apparently rejected that for the second berth at the Bulls.
