In the latest interview on the Official Site, Graham Turner confirms that striker Bradley Hudson-Odoi has not yet signed for the club as previously reported.
Hudson-Odoi will sign a season long loan contract according to the interview whereas, speaking previously to the Hereford Times on Wednesday, Turner had noted the youngster had been released by Fulham.
Turner expresses his delight at Dean Beckwith signing a new deal with the club, while announcing they will take young goalkeeper Nick Jordan from Portsmouth and bring in a Championship goalkeeper on a season long loan in an 'almost done deal'. Toumani Diagouraga's arrival is also touted as 'highly likely' with the club holding first refusal with Watford for the player as part of the deal that saw Lionel Ainsworth depart.
The ongoing Gary Hooper saga appears to be slipping away, with Turner calling it a 'bitter setback'. Turner said that a fee had been agreed with Southend but a trio of League One clubs offered three times the agreed price: "it's moved into the realms of transfer fees we can't get involved in."
