Carlisle's takeover last week will be challenged in the courts by former owner John Courtenay. Part of his 2004 sale of the club to recent owner Fred Story included handing over land near the ground to Courtenay, something he says has never happened. The transfer of 106 acres of floodplain was rubber stamped by the board over 12 months ago, but the Supporters Trust has blocked the move.
MK Dons' Stadium:MK may host Premiership football in the near future, with Tottenham considering the ground as a temporary base if White Hart Lane is redeveloped. Shrewsbury have sent striker Guy Madjo for a trial at Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles. The former Forest Green man started only ten of 21 games after a £20,000 January move.
Bristol Rovers expect to announce the signing of striker Wayne Andrews, their third new forward of the week. Much travelled Andrews, 30, has 12 clubs to his name including a previous loan at the Memorial Stadium where he managed just 22 minutes due to injury.
