Leicester have signed Bulgarian international Aleksander Tunchev for an undisclosed fee. The 26 year old defender has 15 caps and was CSKA Sofia's captain. Rotherham have been granted permission by the Football League to play their home matches at the Don Valley stadium after they told the FL they would be back in Rotherham within four years.

Southend target Charlie Mulgrew has rejected a move to Swindon. The Robins agreed a £150,000 fee with Wolves, with the Shrimpers valuing him lower. Stockport may miss out on Rochdale's David Perkins with Colchester claimed to be in the running. He would be allowed a move for any bid of £150,000 as stipulated in his contract.

Halifax are still waiting on confirmation of their new name after the FA rejected FC Halifax Town as a suggestion. Brighton have named former assistant boss Bob Booker as coach. He was part of Micky Adams' backroom staff during his first stint in charge.

Leeds fans have blasted ex-player Harry Kewell for signing for Galatasaray after he was part of the Leeds side when two fans were killed prior to a match between the sides. Cheltenham have taken former Bulls trialist Ryan Burge on trial, joining ex-Bull Michael Husbands in the four trialists named by their official site. Burge, released by Birmingham City, featured in two HFA Cup games and scored twice against Ledbury.
