With MK Dons' match with Wrexham following Morecambe's game with Shrewsbury being called off, Darlington failed to gain ground on them. The Quakers slipped to third after losing 2-1 at home to Mansfield. Peterboro are fourth, on the same points as Darlo, after Liam Hatch scored the only goal against his old side Barnet. Rotherham lost again, 1-0 to Wycombe, leaving the pair level on points and in fifth and sixth places.
Stockport are seventh despite losing 2-1 at home to Bury, the Shakers' second win in a week, and head a pack of three on 50 points with Rochdale, 2-1 winners at Bradford, and Morecambe. Brentford poke their head into the play-off door with a 3-1 win over Accrington. The Bees are four points off Stockport with a game in hand.
Down the bottom, Wrexham are seven points short of safety after their game was postponed and Dagenham beat Grimsby 4-1. Mansfield's win puts them within three points of the Daggers and Macclesfield, who lost 3-1 to Lincoln. Notts County eased their own problems, and increased Chester's woes, with a 1-0 win at the Deva. Chester posted their lowest attendance of the season (1,798) for a game that sees them winless in twelve.
