Bulls go Second in League

With MK Dons game against Wrexham postponed and Darlington losing to Mansfield, Hereford United's win this afternoon has propelled them into second place in League Two.

1 Milton Keynes Dons 32 29 63
2 Hereford 31 22 61
3 Darlington 31 28 59
4 Peterborough 31 25 59
5 Rotherham 32 11 54
6 Wycombe 33 9 54
7 Stockport 32 7 50
8 Rochdale 30 7 50
9 Morecambe 32 2 50

The game itself was one of two halves - Hereford let Chesterfield come at them in the second half, however perhaps a pointer to the result was that Wayne Brown only had to make one 'real' save.

Possession was judged to have been 53% to Chesterfield and 47% to Hereford. Both sides had six shots on target. Other stats were fairly equal.

No Hereford United player was booked.

Baker Tilly sponsored today's game, they gave the man of the match to Chris Taylor. However Taylor only received a six for his hard work. Top mark was an eight for Gary Hooper.

The much better attendance at Edgar Street was 3503 with 267 from Chesterfield.
