News Round Up

Boston manager Steve Evans has been told that he must sell one more player to cover costs until the sale of the club can be completed. Defender Lee Canoville is the most likely candidate, but a rumoured move to Peterboro is likely to be off after Keith Alexander's sacking. The Pilgrims have also lost the services of Rangers forward Danny N'Guessan, who scored five times in 13 games, with the player believed to be available on a free transfer from the Scottish giants. The Pilgrims now have just 14 contracted players, with five in on loan.

Torquay striker Jamie Ward is holding talks with Wolves after the clubs agreed a deal for the former Aston Villa forward. Bury have sealed a permanent deal for loan keeper Andy Warrington. The 30 year old stopper leaves Doncaster after seven years and over 200 games.

Mansfield fans opposition to the current owner Keith Haslam has increased with a major sponsor of the club pulling the plug. The local insurance firm open cited Haslam's running of the club as the reason for the withdrawal of the long term sponsor. Peterboro caretaker manager Tommy Taylor has confirmed that he wants the job full time. The former Cambridge and Leyton Orient boss joined the club earlier in the season as a coach. Ex-Weymouth boss Garry Hill is also in the frame.

Barnet have made forward pair Guiliano Grazioli and Magno Silva Viera available for loan. The duo are being farmed out to gain match fitness. Lincoln are giving a trial to Huddersfield midfielder Adnan Ahmed. The 22 year old in currently unhappy at the Galpharm Stadium after dropping down the pecking order.
