This update on the sale of tickets comes from the Official Morecambe Website:
There has been a lot of confusion about the number of tickets sold and how many tickets Morecambe have been allocated for the second leg of the playoff semi final at Edgar Street this Thursday. Hopefully the following account from Neil Marsdin will clear things up.
Initially we recieved:
530 Terrace tickets (this is also an enlarged area to the normal area we have had, more towards the half way line, how far I do not know)
125 seated tickets, above this terrace.
total 655
We then asked for another 100 seats, and they sent us 115.
total 770
As of last night, I had balanced sales (completed books of tickets) as follows:
Seats, all 240 had been sold
Terrace, 3 complete books, 150
Therefore we have sold 390 tickets plus whatever had been sold out of the book of terrace tickets in use (1-49)
So it is fair to say over 400 tickets have been sold, leaving about 350 terrace tickets, plus the 100 seated tickets that will arrive today (Tuesday).
