Supporters are a Big Factor

Ahead of this evening's match against Carlisle, Hereford United coach, John Trewick, has told the Western Daily Press that supporters are a big factor in helping the club in its promotion challenge.

After 500 fans travelled to Stevenage last Saturday, Trewick is hopeful that such support will be vital in the last six games.

"The next few weeks will be a testing time for us and the continued positive support from our supporters will be a big factor if we are to come through it successfully," he said.

Trewick has also spoken to the Worcester News about this evening's match.

"We are at home, really confident and we are on the back of three good results. It's certainly a big game, but not a make or break game.

"It would be wonderful to win and go level on points with Carlisle. It's a great opportunity for us to really solidify our position in the play-offs.

"Carlisle have got a lot of potential.

"If you had asked anybody at the start of the season who would be near the top of the league, Carlisle would be among them."
