A large crowd is expected at Edgar Street later today for the visit of Carlisle United in the top Conference game of the evening. The result of the match will give fans another indication as to whether Hereford United can reach the play-offs.
Although Carlisle are not expected to bring vast numbers as the game is on a Tuesday evening, it is still likely that their support could reach around 300. That will be one of the largest followings seen at Edgar Street this season so far other than when Exeter visited Hereford on New Years Day.
Parking at Merton Meadow, next to the ground, will be at a premium this evening so it may be sensible to use the close-by multi-story. This is well signposted.
The highest gate this season at Hereford so far was 3978 for the Exeter visit. Hopefully it will be close or even slightly above that this evening all helping to create a special atmosphere for the game.
So the advice has to be to reach Edgar Street in reasonable time and if possible have the correct entrance money. This will speed up access to the ground.
