News round up

Jack Bodenham at Edgar Street with former Bulls striker Ryan Bowman
Former Hereford loanee Jack Bodenham has turned down a deal to stay at Blyth Spartans. The Welsh centre-back, who had a spell on loan at Edgar Street from Cardiff City in 2019, thanked everyone at the club, especially the fans, for the way they supported him and said the team was second to none.

After Blyth's relegation from the National League North, he said "now it’s time for a new challenge". The Green Army supporters group said Bodenham, 24, "has a heart of pure gold" and is "a solid player on his day who can pick a pass and give someone a bit of kicking". The group said he will be missed and it wants him to have "a very long and successful career, as he more than deserves it".

King's Lynn Town have signed defender Tom Wilson, their second summer signing. The club said he has most recently left FC Halifax Tow and before that, was plying his trade at Belper Town – calling him a strong, young, versatile centre-half.

Manager Adam Lakeland said the club will look to set up with three centre-backs this coming season so need four quality central defenders. He said: "Tom fits the profile of centre-backs I like, committed, aggressive, brave, vocal and competent with the ball.

Nathaniel Knight-Percival is joining Southport. A left-sided central defender, the club said he brings a wealth of experience to the club. He finished the 2023-24 season on loan at Tamworth and ended the 2022-23 season at promoted Kidderminster. He has EFL experience with, among others, Bradford City, Carlisle, Morecambe and Tranmere.

Kidderminster Harriers, who have been relegated from the National League, have finally revealed their season ticket prices to 'fuel their fightback'. Chairman Richard Lane explained the club have taken the difficult decision not to raise season ticket or match day prices for the campaign ahead, despite pressure to do so.

He said there was a "very clear picture" to raise prices to "meet the very difficult challenges of rising costs across the business" but haven't done so. An adult terrace season ticket costs £322 and seated £368 - that is compared to early bird prices at Edgar Street of £310 and £357 respectively.
