Hereford chairman Chris Ammonds spoke to Matt Healey before yesterday's game and one of the subjects was the 'Players Association' which has just been launched.
"I think it's a fantastic idea," said Ammonds.
"I was just smiling at all the names I was seeing last night on social media.
"I think Jamie and a couple of others are the driving force behind that.
"We get a lot of older players and former players coming back here on a match day to help in hospitality and we see them just coming to watch games.
"This would just formalise it a bit more.
"I think in this day and age I think it's just an opportunity for people to get together a bit more often, sometimes more formally.
"I know there are lads who are still in touch and there have been various reunions over time.
"This would give us a real opportunity to look at doing more bigger events potentially and actually create a bit of a community within our community.
"I think when you are a team with other individuals you always got a bit of a bond, this will give it a chance to be formalised."
