I Thought The Boys Were Excellent To A Man Said Caddis

Hereford manager Paul Caddis gave his post Gateshead thoughts to the local media after the Bulls went out of the FA Trophy.

"They are a full-time team," said Caddis.

"I went and watched them Tuesday night, they played at home to Eastleigh.

"That's what they do to teams, they work on that every single day, their patterns are very good.

"So I knew we were going to have to be patient, it was very similar to Rochdale.

"I knew if we could get to 70/80 minutes then we will have a go which we did.

"I know we lost the goal beforehand but the best chances overall probably fell to us in the last 15/20 minutes and we had that little bit of urgency.

"That was always the plan to try and soak it up for as long as we could because you go chasing players of that quality and the patterns that they work on on a daily basis it's difficult not getting played through.

"So I don't mind doing that with 15 minutes to go trying to get back in the game.

"All things considered I thought the boys were excellent to a man".
