Caddis Talks About His Latest Signings

Hereford manager Paul Caddis started both his two new signings this afternoon against Southport.

Afterwards he spoke about their performances.

"I thought Paul Downing was head and shoulders above everybody else on the pitch,"said Caddis.

"His quality in possession, his calmness, played through lines, his voice.

"I thought he was first class, really good.

Kian Ryley

"Kian (Ryley) was really lively in spells.

"I thought for 18 years of age he was mature and probably was one of our best players on what was a poor result."

Late in the game captain Nathan Cameron received a nasty cut to his head. Will he be alright for Chester on Tuesday?

"Too early to say.

"The doctor advised he had to go off the pitch. Welfare of the players is important.

"We had to take him off."
