Earlier today Hereford announced the signing of 28 year old Andrai Jones who was playing for Guiseley last season.
At the game between the two clubs at Guiseley Jones was involved in two of the home teams goals.
'While it was only 1-0, Hereford were very much in the game, but the match was sealed eight minutes from time.
Andrai Jones got
the better of Jared Hodgkiss before squaring the ball to Martin, who
slotted home for his second goal of the game.
And Martin sealed his hat-trick four minutes later from the penalty spot after Cullinane--Liburd brought down Jones.
Back in 2014, Jones was playing for Alfreton and when they met Hereford at Edgar Street he was involved in Alfreton's goal. Incidentally this was the game when Jarrod Bowen scored his first senior goal.
'Despite the spirited start by the
Whites, it was the Reds who drew first blood. Andrai Jones pumped the
ball up the right channel to John Akinde. After getting passed Chris
Bush, Daniel Lloyd-Weston came out to narrow the angle, but Akinde
coolly lifted the ball over the advancing keeper to put Alfreton one
up.'
