A 'virtual' meeting of the National League is set to take place tomorrow (Thursday).
Hopefully the composition of the three National leagues will become clearer after the meeting.
As regards the National North, it is not even certain how many teams will take part if or when next season starts.
According to press reports Bradford PA who finished bottom of the league have been told by the National League that they are unlikely to be relegated.
An legal appeal by South Shields to join the National North was turned down yesterday. The FA had earlier decided to 'void' this season for clubs in steps three to seven. South Shields were top of the Northern Premier by twelve points when their season was ended.
It's still thought likely that the top two teams York and Kings Lynn will be promoted but it's uncertain who will take their place.
