Hereford are to support the Ordinary Resolution to formally end the 2019/20 National League season.
While clubs had already voted to end the normal season, no decision had been reached on how the season would end. If passed, the Resolution will provide a final table based on an unweighted Points Per Game basis, and allow play-offs in all three divisions providing the individual players with each team qualify as “Elite Athletes” under the definition and guidance provided by the Government.
Any play-off campaign would need to be completed by July 31, the date the FA have extended the current National League season to, in order to form a valid conclusion to the season.
Clubs have been asked to vote by 5pm on Wednesday with the result hoped to be known shortly afterwards.
