Hereford came away from Leamington with a point despite taking the lead twice at the Phillips 66 Community Stadium.
The Bulls took the lead through Cardiff City loanee James Waite for his second in as many games, but this was cancelled out by Jack Edwards' goal on the stroke of half time.
A penalty in first half stoppage time meant Tom Owen-Evans could retake the lead going into the break.
In the second half James Waite was shown a straight red when he caught his man with a flailing arm, with things going from bad to worse as the second penalty of the game went Leamington's way, duly dispatched by Colby Bishop.
