More Positives Than Negatives Said Greenslade

Defender Danny Greenslade felt there were more positives then negatives despite a loss at home to Curzon Ashton this afternoon.

Greenslade opened the scoring at the start of the second half, admitting the low winter sun meant he couldn't actually see the ball when he struck it into the top corner.

"It's turned out to be quite a disappointing day," said Greenslade.

He was asked about his goal.

"To be honest I couldn't really see the ball, the sun was in my eyes.

"So I thought I'll get it to my feet and give it a go and luckily it flew into the top corner.

"I think we all thought (we were going to coast).

"I think first half we played quite well, I think we were the team on top.

"We had a few more chances, Symon's goal was harshly ruled out, I think he might have been onside.

"But fair play to Curzon they came back and stuck at it and they had a great goal at the end."

After four points from the last two away games, supporters thought this game was winnable.

"I think we all wanted to put in a good performance in front of our own fans. Again they've shown their frustration which they are entitled to.

"I think we've played reasonably well away from home but we can't, for whatever reason, seem to replicate that at home so far this season."
