Bulls Pick Up Knocks At Blyth

Two players were forced off through injury during this afternoon's 3-2 win at Blyth Spartans, with Keiran Thomas and Jordan Cullinane-Liburd unable to carry on.

Thomas had been booked before half time due to what looked like a push in midfield, but was substituted at half time because of a knock to his back. Cullinane-Liburd was then withdrawn in the second half with an ankle injury.

Richards told the press after the game: "It was actually the injury. I hadn't spoke to him about the booking in the first half in terms of keeping his cool, but he was struggling.

"We've had to enforced changes today, Keiran at half time and Jordan in the second half - they're both injuries.

"Keiran got a whack to the back in the first half and he was struggling with a bit of mobility.

"Jordan picked something up at Guiseley, just an ankle injury but nothing serious. He was struggling and fair play to him for letting us know to then make sure all the players out there are 100 per cent."

Keyon Reffell broke his ankle during Tuesday's game at Guiseley.
